Steps

  • Step 1

Show your school spirit by wearing school colors, joining the pep club or attending school events. Here are a few ideas to show your support. Before you start making them, cover your craft area with newspaper.

  • Step 2

Pompoms. Choose two colors of Crayola® Washable Markers to draw stripes on a coffee filter. Cover the entire filter, even the reverse side. Fold filter in half, and in half again. Beginning at one end of the rounded edge, use your Crayola Scissors to cut thin strips into, but not through, the folded filter. Tie string around the bottom. Fluff out the strips for a colorful pompom.

  • Step 3

Pennant. On white paper, draw a large isosceles triangle (two long sides are the same length). With markers, color your pennant with school colors.

  • Step 4

  • Step 5

To add pompoms, punch holes in each pompom and your pennant. Tie them on with yarn or string.

  • Step 6

Bracelets. Cut a wide strip of heavy fabric long enough to go around your wrist one and a half times. Color it with your markers. Fray both sides and cut a slit at one end. Slip the opposite end of fabric through the slit. Bracelets. Cut a wide strip of heavy fabric long enough to go around your wrist one and a half times. Color it with your markers. • Step 7

For a braided bracelet, cut three strips of fabric that go twice around your wrist. Color them using different colors of markers. Tie one end together. Braid the strips. Loosely tie the other end closed around your wrist.
