With Twistables crayons there is no peeling labels, no messy shavings, just twist to sharpen and keep on coloring! The crayons are easy to use and don't require sharpening so there is no wastage. Just twist up as required with the strong advanced twist mechanism. Like normal Crayola Crayons, they have high break resistance made from the highest quality materials.

  VIBRANT COLOURS: Like all Crayola Crayons, our formulation has the highest quality pigments to give true color laydown on paper. They are perfect for coloring with smooth coloring and are not scratchy like some other products. Colors include Red, Orange, Carnation Pink, Yellow, Yellow Green, Green, Violet, Sky Blue, Blue, Light Brown, Black and Apricot.

• Can I purchase refills for CRAYOLA Twistables Colored Pencils and Twistables Crayons?

  Refills are not currently available for Crayola® Twistables products.

• Why don't Crayola Crayon label colors match the crayons?

  We currently use 12 different colored labels for CRAYOLA Crayons. The labels are purchased through an outside vendor and made of either vat dyed construction paper or printed paper and reforested wood. We manufacture more than 120 different Crayola Crayon colors, however, we do not have a crayon label to match each of these colors.

• What is the Crayola Crayons manufacturing process and basic ingredients?

  Crayola® Crayons are made using primarily paraffin wax and color pigment. While the basic ingredients remain consistent across all colors, variations may occur in special effects crayons.

  
  

  Our crayons are crafted through a process that involves melting paraffin wax and blending it with color pigments. This mixture is then poured into molding machines where it solidifies in four to seven minutes. • At what temperature do Crayola Crayons melt?

  The basic ingredients contained in Crayola® Crayons are paraffin wax and color pigment. These ingredients are the same for all Crayola Crayon colors, with some modifications in special effects crayons.

  
  

  Crayola Crayons begin to melt at around 105° Fahrenheit and have a melting point between 120° - 147° Fahrenheit. The melting point is the same for all regular Crayola Crayons; however, the density and amount of pigment included in different crayons will result in varying thickness or viscosity of the mixture.

• Do Crayola Crayons float or sink in water?

  All Crayola® Crayons are made with paraffin wax and color pigment. The crayons vary slightly in weight due to the amount of color pigment added to make each color as well as the density of the powder pigment itself. Even though certain color pigments are very light, and others are very dense, that doesn't mean all dark crayons are heavier. Test this in your laboratory by doing an experiment to see which Crayola Crayons float and sink in water.
